This performance took place on 15/XII/22, in the International Center of Photography in NYC.

Using my body as a medium, I bring back to existence traces of history and trauma. I tattoo myself over wounds that have become invisible; these wounds –broken bones, collapsed lung– were produced by the men who kidnapped and tortured me on the night of June 4, 2020.

This piece investigates how systematic violence and its consequences become invisible in the bodies that have endured pain and torture.
